When you are feeling at your worst, it’s easy to get stuck. And when you’re not coping, you get caught up in unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling and doing.
Sadly, this can happen to anyone. You may not know why, but the truth is that you don’t need to know why in order to move forwards. You just need to know how.
Since 2005, our founder and CBT therapist, Jim Lucas, has been giving people therapy to teach them ways of overcoming their difficulties with relationships, stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma and loss. And now, we have a team of skilled and supportive specialists to help you find peace of mind.
At Openforwards, we are interested in creating powerful changes that last. Human suffering is not a sign that there is something wrong with you. Suffering is a problem of culture and evolution. To meet the challenge of rising levels of psychological distress, we need to build a new culture. You can read more about our philosophy and explore how we can work together in the our special report: The Openforwards Method: Cultural Evolution for Our Time.
