Build your skills with new Training and Clinical Supervision in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Cognitive Behaviour Therapies (CBT)
New Psychology-Focused Training and Supervision not only helps you to be a better therapist, it keeps your work interesting. Working in the same ways can lead to boredom and outdated practice. Our aim is to teach you contemporary scientifically-driven psychological approaches like ACT & CBT that expand your skills-set and choice of interventions.
How we can help
We’ll teach you a modern behavioural approach that uses creative methods to help your clients improve their lives. Our training is underpinned by a curiosity of what works and what doesn’t. Contextual behavioural science provides the framework, because it draws on core behavioural processes including evolutionary, neurological, cognitive, behavioural and emotion-focused principles.
Take a look at our popular training courses including:
- An Introduction to Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) – How to focus on the processes that underpin the ‘disorder’
- Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)-In-Practice – How to apply the techniques of ACT into Individual Client Work
- Expanding the Power of Present Moment Awareness – An advanced course that shows you how to enhance your skills in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- The Strong & Curious Helper – How to enhance your professional successes and personal well-being
- Setting Up your Own Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) -Skills-Practice Peer Supervision Group
- Birmingham ACT Week – 7 Days of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Training from beginner to advanced practitioner
Our Psychology Training Services don’t just tell you about the interventions, you get to do it, to live it and to experience the model first hand. Learn the theory, experience the methods and practice the techniques. Develop a process-focused therapeutic modality, increase your flexibility by moving beyond rigid disorder-focused categorisations of psychological suffering and apply a simple effective transdiagnostic way of working.
