17th-18th September – An Experiential Introduction to ACT Facilitators Dr Sally Bradley and Dr Richard Bennett
This two day workshop for practitioners working in the field of physical and / or mental health care provides an introduction to the key principles of ACT, and of Relational Frame Theory, the basic science that informs the theory and practice of ACT.
19th September – Putting ACT Into Practice Facilitators: Dr Rachel Black and Jim Lucas
This one day workshop builds on the preceding ‘experiential’ introduction workshop with the aim of providing knowledge and skills in introducing ACT principles in clinical practice.
20th-21st September – Skills Development Workshop in ACT Facilitators: Dr Liz Burnside and Dr John Boorman
This workshop builds upon participants skills in using the ACT approach. Participants will also be introduced to the use of ACT as a brief intervention, in both individual and group formats.
22nd-23rd September – ACT Like a Pro! Facilitators: Dr Richard Bennett, Mr Jim Lucas, Dr Joe Oliver and Dr Ray Owen
An intensive skills workshop conducted in a small group format for those who have been using ACT for a while already. The agenda will be shaped by the delegates/facilitators ahead of the workshop using a questionnaire. Places are limited to 32.
